Mappedin Launches Its Indoor Mapping Solution at The Dubai Mall
Waterloo, ON (January 15, 2018) - Mappedin, the leading indoor mapping SaaS platform, today announced its partnership with global real estate provider Emaar Properties (DFM: EMAAR) to provide digital search and navigation capabilities at The Dubai Mall. A leader in retail innovation and proponents of best-in-class technology, Emaar Properties sought to provide a seamless wayfinding experience enabling customers to easily navigate The Dubai Mall’s 1,300 stores and 5.4 million square feet, as well as provide its facility managers with a flexible solution for property management. Mappedin’s fully-integrated solution currently powers The Dubai Mall app experience.
In partnership with Senion, Mappedin has extended its full suite of features and capabilities to The Dubai Mall Mobile App. This app integration is the first of its kind and offers a completely interactive 3D wayfinding experience with the help of indoor positioning technology. Beacons throughout The Dubai Mall provide positioning updates to shoppers' smartphones twice a second, offering an incredibly accurate navigation experience. The app also features Smart Search, enabling shoppers to easily locate stores by populating data-driven results, and turn-by-turn directions.
