Solidifying our Commitment to the Highest Standard of Data Security

Our top priority at Mappedin is keeping our customers' maps and associated data safe and secure. Mappedin currently powers over 600 million square feet of indoor space across 750+ venues in 30+ countries. We take this responsibility seriously which is why implementing standardized security practices and policies have been a top priority.
Today, we’re excited to announce a new milestone validating all the work we do to keep our customers' maps and associated data safe and secure through the strength of our information security controls. We have received our SOC 2 (Type 1) report as part of these efforts. This important milestone speaks to our safeguards for mapping data, cloud service management, and the protection of our customers' data. To earn these enterprise-grade verifications, our controls, policies, and organizational procedures were reviewed by third-party auditor Deloitte. Deloitte, along with the cooperation of Mappedin validated our commitment to securing and protecting our customers' maps and associated data being used across our suite of products. This milestone applies to all of our customers, from small individual venues to large enterprise portfolios.

Our SOC 2 (Type 1) report validates the strength and effectiveness of our software and organization controls to safeguard the data our customers' input to our systems. It looks at the security, privacy, availability, and confidentiality of that data, ultimately ensuring the highest standard is maintained. This report details the extensive care we take to maintain the credibility our company and platform have earned across indoor spaces.
Mappedin is dedicated to keeping information security at the heart of our product and company policies. With this, we plan to continue growing our policies and procedures around information security. This initiative is central to what we’re doing at Mappedin, empowering our customers to own their maps and associated data. Mappedin’s products serve the purpose of unlocking opportunities to utilize simplified 3D maps for a variety of purposes. Those purposes are ultimately determined by our customers since every venue type and business has different needs for maps. This is why we believe it is critical for those spaces and businesses to own their data and demand the highest standard of protection around it.
